TELIIS, born Annalise Freeman, grew up in a suburb of Fort Worth, Texas. Though she is formally trained in opera and classical music, after her college graduation, she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career as a recording artist. In 2017, she began producing her own music and collaborating with other producers. In April 2018, she debuted her first single entitled "Captivity" which encompasses ambient sounds and vocally driven melodies, resembling the styles of Bjork, Imogen Heap, and Nine Inch Nails. Her sophomore single, "1000 Piece Puzzle" released in October 2018 and she is currently working on her EP to release in May 2019, followed by a US tour
